About the Role:

Lineage seeks a Senior Creative Strategist with an unshakeable enthusiasm for marketing to service our roster of existing agency accounts and contribute ideas for securing new ones. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a proven track record of leading successful pitches, developing strategic briefs, and building out frameworks for a defensible agency position. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and business acumen, with the ability to bridge and stretch between entertainment and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and presentation of strategic pitches and briefs for both current projects and new business opportunities.

  • Build out frameworks and strategies to establish and maintain a defensible position for the agency.

  • Collaborate across departments, including Creative, Social, Production, and Accounts, to build cohesive integrated marketing plans.

  • Serve as the brand, business, consumer, and culture expert, pushing for innovative and impactful work under tight timelines.

  • Conduct comprehensive research, including competitive landscape, industry trends, and cultural insights, to inform strategic decisions.

  • Analyze campaign performance data and optimize strategies to achieve desired KPIs and maximize ROI.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or agency roles, with a proven track record of success in strategic planning and execution.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience in small shops and the ability to stretch between entertainment and marketing.

  • Deep understanding of the agency/brand business, content strategy, audience engagement, and the production company business.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling narratives and present confidently to clients and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in using research and data analysis to inform strategies and drive results.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead projects with minimal oversight.

  • Familiarity with digital and social media landscapes, and a pulse on fandoms, subcultures, and content trends.
