Lineage seeks a Marketing Strategist to service a roster of existing agency accounts, contribute ideas for securing new ones, and bring their unique perspective born of an unshakeable enthusiasm for marketing. Candidates must have at least 3 years of manager-level agency experience and a track record of successfully developing, implementing and optimizing campaign-based and always-on marketing for brands.


Responsibilities:

  • Help steer the strategic direction for client accounts, working closely with clients to develop, pitch, and execute effective marketing strategies.

  • Conduct thorough research (competitive landscape, white space, industry trends, and opportunities) to inform innovative ideas and tactics for achieving internal and client marketing goals.

  • Execute, package, and confidently present client-facing work.

  • Contribute to internal marketing efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute them.

  • Stay informed on industry news, market trends, and relevant cultural topics to enhance your work.

  • Analyze always-on and campaign performance data to develop compelling narratives.

  • Understand and respond to client feedback, identifying unique, win-win solutions to business challenges.

  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired KPIs and maximize ROI.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as creative, content, and digital, to ensure successful campaign execution and alignment with client objectives.

  • Regularly report on campaign progress, providing clients with insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive agency growth and client satisfaction.

  • Participate in new business pitches, contributing your marketing expertise and strategic thinking to help win new clients.

  • Stay current on emerging marketing technologies, tools, and platforms, and recommend their adoption when relevant to enhance client campaigns and agency capabilities.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of brand marketing and/or agency experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work background.

  • Thorough understanding of brand strategy and marketing best practices across various industries.

  • Exceptional written communication skills, requiring minimal editing.

  • Broad knowledge of the digital and social media landscape.

  • Proven track record of creating successful, measurable marketing campaigns.

  • Strong idea generation and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Dependable client relationship management and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-directed work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and budgets.

  • Experience with social listening and analysis, and the ability to use it to shape narratives.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities or the desire to become an industry leader.


Nice-to-haves:

  • Expertise in creating visually appealing presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Understanding of programmatic, open web, paid search, and other forms of paid media.
